How APK.net.pk Makes Money
We believe you should always know when a website earns money from what it recommends. This page explains every way APK.net.pk generates revenue and how that relationship affects our content.
The Short Version
APK.net.pk earns revenue primarily through display advertising. We do not charge readers anything. Advertisers do not control our editorial content. We cover apps we find genuinely useful to our audience, not apps that pay us to cover them.

Why We Write This
The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and similar regulators in many other countries require websites to disclose when they have a financial relationship with products or services they cover. Beyond legal compliance, we believe transparency is the foundation of reader trust.
When you read a recommendation on APK.net.pk, you deserve to know whether money played any role in it. This page tells you everything. Our goal is to fund this publication in a way that never compromises the honest, independent testing that makes our content valuable in the first place.
Our Revenue Sources
Display Advertising
Banner and in-article ads served by Google AdSense and similar networks. The largest share of our revenue comes from here.
Affiliate Commissions
Where marked, links to VPN services or similar tools may earn a commission. Currently a minor revenue source on this site.
Display Advertising
The primary way APK.net.pk generates revenue is through display advertisements. These are the banner ads, in-article ads, and sidebar ads you see when browsing the site. We partner with the following ad networks:
| Ad Network | Ad Types | Targeting Method |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdSense | Banner, in-content, responsive | Contextual and behavioral (based on browsing interests) |
Advertisers who run ads through these networks do not see our content before it is published. They do not have the ability to request edits, demand coverage of their products, or require us to present them favorably in our content. The ads that appear on a given page are determined by algorithmic matching between the ad content and the page topic, not by any editorial agreement with the site.
Affiliate Links
In some articles, particularly those covering privacy or security tools such as VPN services, APK.net.pk may include affiliate links. An affiliate link is a tracked URL that earns APK.net.pk a small commission if you click through and make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.
When an affiliate link appears in our content, we mark it clearly. We use language such as “affiliate link,” “(paid link),” or a visible disclosure statement at the top of the article. If you are not sure whether a link is an affiliate link, assume it could be and check the disclosure at the top of the article.
Our Affiliate Principles
- We do not include an affiliate link to a product we have not actually tested or do not genuinely recommend.
- We do not cover a product primarily because it has an affiliate program.
- Whether or not an affiliate relationship exists does not change the criteria we use to evaluate a product.
- We maintain the same review standards for affiliate products and non-affiliate products.
- If an affiliate-linked product has a significant flaw or risk, we say so clearly in the review, even if that reduces the likelihood of a commission.
Sponsored Content
APK.net.pk does not currently publish paid reviews, sponsored posts, or brand partnership content where a company pays for editorial placement. If this changes in the future, such content will be clearly labeled at the top as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership” before any reader opens it.
Our Editorial Wall
The editorial wall is the principle that advertising relationships do not influence what we write. Here is specifically what that means for APK.net.pk:
| Principle | What We Do |
|---|---|
| Topic selection | We choose topics based on reader interest and search demand, not on which topics generate the most ad revenue or affiliate commission. |
| Rankings and verdicts | Our verdicts on which mod is best, safest, or most feature-rich reflect our own testing, not an advertiser’s preferred outcome. |
| Negative coverage | If we find a security issue, a privacy risk, or a broken feature in an APK, we publish that finding even if the affected app has an affiliate relationship with us. |
| Corrections | If we get something wrong, we correct it transparently and update the article. Advertising relationships do not protect a product from corrections. |
Advertiser Rules
We accept advertising from most legitimate businesses. We do not accept advertising from companies or individuals that:
- Distribute malware, spyware, or other malicious software.
- Make misleading or false claims about their products.
- Engage in predatory or illegal practices.
- Advertise products that directly conflict with the trust and safety standards we apply to the content we cover.
